Part of the beauty about this design is that you can stop wherever it is you want to... or wherever you run our of yarn! It's really just a matter of preference.
Rounds 21 through 27 just keep building Pineapple Bases and working to the Leaves, then the Transition between sets of pineapples again.
Repeating those round three more time makes a ‘regular’ length garment, like the ivory colored one I'm wearing below. You can see there are a total of 4 sets of pineapples AFTER the split for sleeves.
The pink one has 5 sets of pineapples after the sleeves.
And the silver gray one shown in the magazine is the tunic length which has 6 sets of pineapples after the sleeves.
Or some are going even longer as a dress which is simply stunning! One project on Ravelry even goes all the way to the floor!
At the end, Round 21 (the Pineapple Bases) gets worked one more time, and then the Last Round of simple ch-4 loops. Others are finding that those last couple rounds are optional, and indeed they are. This can really be ended on any round.
And was also published in the Happily Hooked Magazine May 2018 issue which is also available on Ravelry!
- # 9 - Pineapple Peasant Top Rounds 21 through 27, ** then 21 once more time**, and the Last Round - just keep breezing along and repeat those pineapples!
