Newest Pattern- One Skein Summer Slippers

So, what do you do when you can't find just the right pattern to use for a project you have in mind? Well, if you're me... you write your own! See, niece bought me all this super pretty, softl and lovely cotton yarn, but only one ball of each color. I wanted some summer slippers, but every pattern I looked at used more than the 95 yards I have on each ball. So after looking and playing and adjusting and frogging and modifying and hooking... here's a big TA-DA!!!

One Skein Summer Slippers!!!! Takes just ONE BALL (2 oz/95 yds) of soft worsted weight cotton yarn! Pattern now available on Ravelry and Craftsy.

I think these are just THE perfect summer slipper pattern.
The XL size uses exactly one 2 oz, 95 yd ball of soft worsted weight cotton yarn! These lightweight slippers are worked in an airy mesh design, with just a little more structure at the toes and heel to keep your feet happy all summer long. The mary jane style strap across the instep is held in place with a matching flower button.

Pattern also includes instructions for making smaller adult or teen sizes.

This pair is made with Peaches and Creme brand cotton yarn in the colorway they call 'lotus blossom'.

This pair I made for my biggest fan: my mother! This color is called 'poppy'- but I think I will call it orange creamsicle!
