Today I have some MICRO thread crochet artists to share with you. This just astounds me.
First up is Frances Powell at Buttercup Miniatures!
Take a close look at this pic...
THAT, my friends, is an AMAZING 1:12 scale dollhouse sized fireplace, complete with Victorian tasselled Mantelpiece cover, round mats and summer fire screen.
This picture didn't zoom in very nicely (my fault- it's nice and clear on Frances' site!), BUT that is the same fire screen in the first picture shown next to a PENNY!
I could show you SO many more astonishing things, but really, you just need to head over to Buttercup Miniatures and see for yourself! Frances has so many patterns for dollhouse items and teddy bear items, even micro knitting (!!!) and some free patterns to share.
Look for Frances too on Ravelry where she has almost 300 patterns available!
Yes, that is a real, normal sized finger!
I can't even imagine working these incredibly detailed figures in my regular thread, never mind as teensy tiny as these!
Love and prayers all!
