As this year winds down to the end and a new one gets ready to start up, I look back on the steps little Heritage Heartcraft has taken over this past year. First and most importantly, she found her NAME! What a lovely thing it is to finally find the name that sings to you and affirms in every way its perfect fit! Second, she has grown in recognition and web presence. There has been a lot of hard work put in the the website over this year, and plenty more to come. But it is already seeing quite a bit of traffic which is making all that effort well worth it. Being associated with the Mad Mad Makers this past year has also been an amazing experience and I am looking forward to continuing on with this awesome network! Third, she has learned so much and been inspired by all of YOU! Quite a few of you who are fans of my little page on Facebook are amazing designers and creators and I am beyond blessed to be able to keep company with you all. There are a handful of fans that I look for your likes and comments on my posts- I just love how regularly you drop in to visit and believe me, that simple act of clicking the like button just means the world to me! Fourth, Heritage Heartcraft has plans for the coming year: part of which is to even more broadly incorporate the 'heritage' aspect with blog posts focusing on my own cultural and crafty background and vintage craft forms and tools, methods, and patterns. I'd LOVE your help with that part too: if you have any favorite 'vintage' handcrafted items, or keep alive a craft form from days gone by with your own special twist to it, I'd be honored to feature YOU in one of my blog posts next year! Leave a comment here with your email address or send me a message by email at [email protected] and let's start a conversation about your own heritage heartcraft! love and prayers for blessings in the New Year,
Cara Louise

Happy New Year! I love to crochet vintage doilies and collect any and every pattern I can find. I have found several vintage pattern books at yard sales. Looking forward to another crocheting year!
