Finally we get to “pineapple”! There are SO many variations of the pineapple motif and I just love all of them. It's not any particular stitch, but rather the arrangement of stitches that creates the pineapple shape.
Our pineapple starts with a slightly concave base of tr stitches, then changes to chain loops which progressively get fewer with the next rounds, finally ending up with two ‘leaves’ sticking out of the very top of the pineapple.
Be careful again to keep your tension consistent with all those tr and chain stitches. Don’t get too loose or too tight. Practice that Hook-Led Gauge I mentioned last week.
